SBU Crime Watch: Nov. 6 – Nov. 10

All reports are taken directly from the University Police Department (UPD) and cannot be independently verified by The Statesman. 

On Monday, Nov. 6, there was a report of multiple charges made by an unknown party on a meal plan card in O’Neill Hall. The case was closed by student referral.

On Monday, Nov. 6, there was a report of harassment within an unknown party that left once UPD arrived on the scene at Stony Brook Hospital. The case was closed by investigation.

On Tuesday, Nov. 7, there was a report of a patient striking a staff member in Stony Brook Hospital. The case was closed after the victim refused to cooperate.

On Wednesday, Nov. 8, there was a report of a domestic incident in Stony Brook Hospital. A Domestic Incident Report (DIR) was completed, and the case was closed after the victim refused to cooperate.

On Wednesday, Nov. 8, there was a report of unknown damage caused to a gate arm in Stony Brook Hospital. The case was closed.

On Wednesday, Nov. 8, there was a report of a missing gym bag in the indoor sports complex. The case was closed by investigation. 

On Wednesday, Nov. 8, there was a report of a violation of an order of protection. An arrest was made in Roth Cafe. 

On Wednesday, Nov. 8, there was a report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident in West Side Dining. An MV-104A accident report was completed, and the case was closed. 

On Thursday, Nov. 9, there was a report of a missing portable charger in H Community Center. The case was closed by investigation. 

On Thursday, Nov. 9, there was a report of a patient striking two employees at Stony Brook Hospital. The case was closed by investigation. 

On Friday, Nov. 10, there was a report of a patient’s girlfriend taking his cell phone without permission in Stony Brook Hospital. The case was closed by investigation.

On Friday, Nov. 10, there was a report of a male student employee in Roth Cafe giving away food. There is still an open investigation.
