Cameron Takmil, Assistant Sports Editor

Cameron Takmil is a junior Biology major (B.S.), minoring in Health, Medicine, and Society at Stony Brook University. Cameron joined The Statesman in 2022 as a writer before becoming an Assistant Sports Editor in 2024. When he’s not keeping up with Stony Brook sports, he is the President of the American Cancer Society at Stony Brook and does novel pharmaceutical research at Stony Brook Medicine. Additionally, in his free time, he is an avid cook, pianist, and reader.
