Four thrift shops near Stony Brook University for a day out on the town

Thrifting has become a popular alternative to shopping firsthand from fashion retailers. Originally, its main purpose was to provide affordable clothing while sometimes raising money for charitable causes such as homeless shelters. There are a handful of thrift stores near Stony Brook University, providing an opportunity to support local businesses while enjoying a fun day out on the town.
