From news this week, Stony Brook University libraries and DoIT have partnered to launch the Laptop Loan Program which give students 30 day access to computers while taking online classes. Arts and culture profiled author and former Stony Brook student, Stephanie Hayman, and discussed Hayman’s book Surviving My First Decade in Corporate America. Opinions published two pieces: one on the presidential debate and another on the Town of Brookhaven Landfill’s expansion plans and its environmental impacts.
