The Stony Brook University Police Department (UPD) investigated several burglaries in Dreiser College that were reported earlier today, according to an email sent to the campus community Thursday evening.
The victims, according to an earlier email, reported that an unknown male entered their rooms without permission and removed personal belongings.
Two suspects were located this afternoon, and one resident student and an individual unaffiliated with the university were charged.
UPD was not able to respond to requests immediately.
