Stony Brook University has taken new measures to adhere to social distancing guidelines and the campus has adjusted accordingly. In order to prevent students from sitting close to each other, chairs have either been separated or marked with an “X” to notify students where they cannot sit. Each building now contains hand sanitizer dispensers on the walls so that students are able to disinfect their hands whenever they choose to. Entrances and exit signs have been labeled onto doors in order to decrease student interaction. Many hallways have stickers on the floor to show students where to stand if a line forms. Students are also required to wear face coverings inside each building and are expected to maintain social distancing. Photos by Assistant Multimedia Editor Rabia Gursoy.
