The Weekend Life Council is showing “Fruitvale Station” on Friday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. in the SAC Auditorium. The docudrama details the shooting of Oscar Grant, a young father, on New Year’s Day in 2009.
Those interested in becoming a certified Snitch can attend the Quidditch team’s “SBU Snitch Academy” on Saturday, March 1 at the South P C Field. Walter Makuracha, the Northeast snitch training coordinator, will be on hand to train future snitches.
Keller College Hall Council will be hosting an Oscars Night on Sunday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the dorm lounge. There will be snacks and refreshments to celebrate the year’s best films.
