Three Seawolves possibly headed to Italy for the World University Games

Stony Brook will be represented when USA Hockey travels to Trentino, Italy for the 26th World University Games from Dec. 11-21.

Defenseman and assistant captain Chris Joseph and forward Ryan Cotcamp both made the roster. Both will also represent New York, as Joseph is from Levittown and Cotcamp is from Hopewell Junction. Rookie defenseman Alex Miller might also be traveling to Italy, as he was selected as an alternate.

The World University Games are held every two years, with the USA Team going up against some of the best in the world. The next home game for the Seawolves will be Friday, Nov. 22 at 9 p.m. at the Rinx in Hauppauge.
