Statesman Sports Spotlight ft. Matt Howlin and Kenny Spurrell

Sports editor Mike Anderson and his assistants Matt Howlin and Kenny Spurrell sit down to talk about the in-season Stony Brook sports teams. The sports editors previewed the hockey team’s upcoming league playoff tournament, as well as the men’s basketball team’s first trip to the CAA tournament. They shed some light on the women’s basketball team and what’s gone wrong and right for it so far. They also dive into the four major spring teams (men’s and women’s lacrosse, baseball and softball).
