State University of New York (SUNY) Chancellor John B. King Jr. announced on Tuesday, April 11 that COVID-19 vaccination will no longer be required for students across SUNY’s 64 campuses, effective summer 2023.
The New York State Department of Health announced it will no longer enforce the booster mandate for healthcare workers that was scheduled to go into effect on Monday, Feb. 21, but undergraduate students must still submit proof by the same date.
#OPINIONS: If we continue to require vaccination for in-person classes, we must provide services for those who refuse the vaccine. Individual liberties must be safeguarded while the public is protected.
#OPINION: It is time to stop prioritizing the treatment of unvaccinated COVID-19 patients. We can no longer enable the selfishness of the unvaccinated.
