A reverse sweep to close out its opening conference series left the Stony Brook women’s volleyball team still in search of its first important win of the year. The Seawolves opened their Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) season by losing both matches to the Northeastern Huskies.

The Stony Brook women's volleyball team extended its winning streak to six straight matches, picking up a 3-1 four-set victory over Hartford on Friday night.
With the victory, the Seawolves earned a three seed in the America East playoffs and will head to Albany on Friday, Nov. 20 for their first-round match.
