Mold is one of the most common problems encountered in college dorms, and SBU is not immune to this. Students have long complained of mold in their dorms, but more concerningly, have also complained about a lack of urgency from Campus Residences. 

Bagels N A Hole Lot More and O Sole Mio, both popular eateries among Stony Brook University students, were cited for health code violations on Suffolk County inspection reports this past February.
