For the past 434 days, the Stony Brook football team’s record was .500 or better. Following their 17-10 loss to the University of Delaware Blue Hens (5-6, 3-4), the Seawolves (5-6, 2-5) winning percentage is now .455 and they have now lost five of their past six games after starting the season 4-1.
The clock dwindled down on Saturday, Sept. 28 to the final two minutes of the game with the Stony Brook Seawolves up 24-14 on the Rhode Island Rams, a Seawolves victory seemed all but assured.
From the opening kickoff to the final whistle, the Stony Brook University football team was in the control of the game on Saturday, Sept. 21 versus the Fordham University Rams.

“I mean everybody dreams, right?” Liotine said. “I hoped it would happen. I prayed for it. I dreamed about it every day since I realized I could play college football.”
2015 has been the worst season in head coach Chuck Priore’s decade-long tenure with the Stony Brook Football team. The Seawolves have now lost five consecutive games.
