The 15th annual Festival of Lights took place Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the SAC, bringing students of all backgrounds and ethnicities together to rejoice in holiday spirit.
“A lot of people actually don’t know that there are galleries on campus,” Mikaela Batista said. “So it would be great to have more students come and check out the galleries.”
Tie Dye. Homemade pottery. Bartending. All are things one can make or learn at Stony Brook’s Craft Center and ceramic studio. But that creative spark might not stay lit.
The diverse personalities that exist at Stony Brook were seen on Thursday at the reception of the 2014 Satellite art exhibition, which will remain in the SAC Art Gallery until Oct. 2.
