Viyang is the News Editor for The Statesman. They are a junior double majoring in journalism and political science. Outside of the paper, they serve as the secretary for Hidden Treasures, a student-led club focusing on promoting sustainability around campus, and contribute to the Stony Brook Media Group with everything behind-the-scenes. When they’re free, they’re either napping or watching questionable reality TV shows.
