What previous experience do you have?
Since I was 16 years old, I have had the drive and ambition to maintain part-time work and full-time school. I have learned time management and the ability to balance several facets of my life, are the keys to success. I am extremely dedicated and disciplined in the line of hard work. I firmly believe this work ethic will lead me to become a very efficient senator, who is concerned with student affairs and issues, and committed to a resolution.
What skills can you bring to the position?
As a young professional, I believe I have various skills that could be offered to my Undergraduate Student Government. In previous positions I have held, I had to handle tasks including event planning, by means of organization and communication, along with the knowledge of networking and other forms of interaction, that could prove quite valuable to a position as a senator of USG.
What about USG do you think is good and what could be made better?
Well, I believe the connection between USG and the student body is growing, along with the overall awareness of USG‘s mission statement. Campus life is the best it has been during my entire academic career, and only has room to improve. I have high hopes for this upcoming Fall semester and expect initiatives and tasks brought to Senate to be resolved in an efficient and resolute manner.
As aforementioned, the communication between USG and the student population could use progression and advancement. My encompassing aim, if elected, is to work with student body in order to have them feel more involved in an organization that is, and was created, for them.
