In a midweek game full of hard-earned goals and fast responses, the Stony Brook men’s soccer team settled for a draw. Returning to Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium after a two-game road trip, the Seawolves hosted the Le Moyne Dolphins on Wednesday night.
The season ends for the team, including the eight seniors and graduate and transfer students, who played their final game in a Stony Brook jersey Saturday night.
The Stony Brook men’s soccer team was unable to find the back of the net in 110 minutes of play against the Binghamton Bearcats at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium Saturday evening.
The 4-1-1 start to the season is the best start the men’s soccer team has had through the first six games since 2004, when the team began the season with the same record.
Down 1-1 with just under 10 minutes to play in its game against Central Connecticut State, the Stony Brook men’s soccer team was looking to find the one quick opportunity it needed to get the win.
