Elijah Olaniyi, a former star player for the Stony Brook men’s basketball team, was diagnosed with a brain tumor on his right frontal lobe on Nov. 30, 2023.
Two seasons ago, Stony Brook graduate guard Elijah Olaniyi came into his own, solidifying himself as a star as a junior by putting up averages of 18.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
