Stony Brook students, faculty, and administrators linked arms outside both the SAC and the Administration building in recognition of the University of Missouri protests.
The demonstration started at the Student Activities Center and students made their way toward the Administration Building, chanting “Black Lives Matter.”
Miguel Lorenzo Roncal, a chemical and molecular engineering major and commuter student, died one week after being involved in a single car accident. He was 20 years old.
