USG offering discounted Broadway trips for students during spring semester

During winter break the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) announced a flurry of surprises for returning Stony Brook students, including discounted trips to see hit Broadway plays. With a fee of $50 students get to see shows like the critically acclaimed “Lion King” during the Spring semester.

Parking violations run rampant at Stony Brook

Parking enforcement is out in full force during the first week of classes. Parking tickets were given most frequently during the first two weeks of last semester, including 398 on the first day of classes last fall. This was over five times the number of tickets given on an average day during the year, according to the university parking records.
