Former Stony Brook Baseball player Joe Nathan has officially retired after a 16-year career in MLB, the Minnesota Twins announced Tuesday afternoon.

Catcher Kevin Krause and pitcher Brandon McNitt were picked in the 2014 MLB Draft over this past weekend, with Krause going to the Pittsburgh Pirates and McNitt getting selected by the Houston Astros.
