Although the team finished the regular season with an 8-10 overall record, they still managed to advance as far as any Stony Brook Women’s Soccer squad ever has, picking up just the second America East title in program history.
Despite a 1-0 loss to the Albany Great Danes (4-3-1 in the America East Conference), the Stony Brook women's soccer team clinched a playoff berth in the America East Conference Championship with a 4-3 conference record.
With the help of Team IMPACT, an organization that connects courageous children battling illness with local college athletic teams, Rylie was able to connect with the women’s soccer team.
