Students, faculty and domestic violence prevention organizations marched together in “Take a Stand: Walk With Me” on Oct. 23 to raise awareness about domestic and relationship violence.
Glenn McKay quietly sat on a chair and took a moment to himself. Four of McKay’s peers and his supervisor waited for him to perform his monologue, but he had just spent the last few minutes laughing about an old improv memory, and his monologue was serious. He had to get into character.
At least 100 students came together on Wednesday for the annual walk for domestic violence awareness, “Take a Stand/Walk With Me,” organized by the Center for Prevention and Outreach (CPO).
Students came to the “A Night on Brookway” event on March 23 to donate to the Broadway Cares fundraising organization, and to enjoy some Broadway entertainment.
