Coulter breaks Stony Brook Record at Fastrack National Invitational

Friday was a historic day for Stony Brook Track and Field at the Fastrack National Invitational, as sophomore mid-distance runner Luke Coulter of the Men’s team broke the program record for the 800 meter race with a time of 1:52.44. “Luke was certainly the star of the day, he ran a perfect tactical race, positioned himself well throughout the race and ran confidently to the finish line,” head coach Andy Ronan said in a press release.

Cross Country impresses at Coast to Coast Battle

“The guys competed very well today, taking seventh out of 23 teams, with 5 of the 6 teams in front of us ranked in the top 30 in the Nation,” head coach Andy Ronan said in a press release. “It's early season but I felt it was important for us to run well against our regional opponents. Finishing in front of Dartmouth, Boston University and Providence was encouraging at this stage.”
