No. 18 Stony Brook hockey swept at No. 15 Liberty, winless in last five

Although its offense woke up, the No. 18 Stony Brook hockey team’s disappointing season continued with another sweep. Down in Virginia, the Seawolves were swept by the No. 15 Liberty Flames in a two-game series this past weekend. Stony Brook was blown out 9-2 on Friday night before falling 6-5 in a seesawing affair.

No. 19 Stony Brook hockey challenges No. 8 Niagara to open its ESCHL season

Coming off a split in its opening series, the No. 19 Stony Brook hockey team will look to start Eastern States Collegiate Hockey League (ESCHL) action on the right foot. After splitting their opening series at home to Oswego, the Seawolves will head up north to the Dwyer Ice Center in Lewiston, N.Y. for a two-game set with the No. 8 Niagara Purple Eagles.

Stony Brook hockey seeking major bounce back after letdown season

The Seawolves finished the 2022-23 season 18-11-4 overall and ranked No. 18 in the nation amongst American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division I teams.
