Stony Brook Football’s all-time sacks leader Victor Ochi made his return to New York after signing with the New York Jets’ practice squad on Sept. 13.

Victor Ochi, Stony Brook’s all-time career sack leader, was waived from the Baltimore Ravens this Saturday during their final round of preseason cuts, the Ravens announced.

All signs pointed toward one of the NFL's 32 teams making outside linebacker Victor Ochi the first Stony Brook player to ever be selected in the NFL Draft.

“I used to watch it on TV. It’s crazy being a part of it,” Ochi said of being selected to participate in the combine.
