Maria Eugenia Gold challenged the long-held belief that dodo birds were stupid and instead proposed that the dodo bird might have been about as smart as the common pigeon.

The world is currently on track to have more plastic than fish by weight in its oceans by 2050, according to a study published by the World Economic Forum.
