Stony Brook Athletics inducted eight new members into the Rita & Kurt Eppenstein Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday. The 17th class is the largest to be inducted in the university’s history.

Catcher Kevin Krause and pitcher Brandon McNitt were picked in the 2014 MLB Draft over this past weekend, with Krause going to the Pittsburgh Pirates and McNitt getting selected by the Houston Astros.
