Island Federal Credit Union Arena erupted in raucous cheer as the ball sank through the net to give the Seawolves a 62-61 lead, but the excitement was short-lived as the Bulldogs would force overtime and ultimately reign victorious 74-69 in the season opener.
Stony Brook Men’s Basketball picked up two key victories this week, winning 97-61 against the Molloy College Lions in the team’s home opener at Island Federal Credit Union Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 21 and against Rhode Island on Nov. 24.
