A central part of history today is looking at the events of the past with a magnifying glass. While events like Columbus’ expedition to the New World opened a path to cross-world connections, it also led to the relocation and extermination of indigenous groups.
The Student Organization - Creating Indigenous Awareness (SOCIA) will be holding the Second Annual Harvest Dinner today from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Peace Center. Elvira Colorado will be the featured guest speaker at the dinner.
