Over the weekend, Stony Brook took sole ownership of the conference's top spot after defeating the Albany Great Danes in a series. The pitching for the Seawolves bounced back nicely, while the offense and defense continued to shine.

Despite overall competitiveness in a three-game series against the McNeese State Cowboys from Friday, Feb. 18 to Sunday, Feb. 20, the Stony Brook baseball team dropped the series to begin its season 1-2.
