The Wang Center screens animated film “Inu-Oh,” blending rock and 14th-century Japanese culture

Director Masaaki Yuasa fuses rock and roll with 14th-century Japanese culture in his animated film “Inu-Oh,” which was screened on Nov. 17 as part of the Charles B. Wang Center’s fall film showings. The film is based on the Japanese novel “Tales of the Heike: Inu-Oh” by Hideo Furukawa.
