Three Stony Brook juniors will present to the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) about a transparency need in Stony Brook’s waste and recycling programs, using results from a survey they conducted this past fall.
Several hundred trees were cleared for the construction of a 759-bed residence hall and 60,000 square-foot dining facility on Toll Drive. Three out of four "exploitably vulnerable" trees were replanted in the Research & Development Park.
Within the first few weeks of this semester, snowstorms have brought students three days of cancelled classes and brought the university three days of snow removal efforts.
