From playing at family birthday parties to jamming on live Facebook sessions with over 12,000 viewers, SWIM’s new philosophy has given the band a second chance.
SWIM, a local Stony Brook band whose Facebook page describes them as “precise, dramatic and dynamic rock music,” did not get a start like any other college band.
