Dr. Balaji Sitharaman, an associate professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook University, is the recipient of the $50,000 grant from the SUNY Technology Accelerator Fund.
Research in the field of bone tissue engineering has produced an array of potential materials for repairing or replacing damaged bone, one of which is being developed by Dr. Balaji Sitharaman in Stony Brook’s biomedical engineering department.
