In a society where sex workers often get discriminated against, the question of decriminalization of sex work should be highly considered. Sex workers often face violence in their field including physical, sexual and psychological violence.
Dec. 1 is also World AIDS Day, a day to come together in the fight against HIV/AIDS around the world, and Stony Brook helped students on campus became a part of it.
The Stony Brook University chapter of The Supply will be hosting a night of awareness and fundraising on April 21 in the Student Activities Center at 7 p.m.
Students came to the “A Night on Brookway” event on March 23 to donate to the Broadway Cares fundraising organization, and to enjoy some Broadway entertainment.
