Stony Brook President Maurie McInnis appointed Justin Fincher as vice president of advancement and executive director of the Stony Brook Foundation after a year-long national search, according to a letter from her office on June 8.
SUNY Chancellor Kristina M. Johnson is resigning to become president of The Ohio State University, according to a press release by the SUNY Board of Trustees on June 3.
An investigation by The Statesman found that at least seven students were expelled for submitting falsified Stony Brook transcripts in their graduate school applications.
