It was a sad weekend for the volleyball team as they dropped four straight in the Holiday Inn Express Invitational. They lost to Seina, Ohio, Yale and Maryland over the course of two days. The Seawolves try to rebound Tuesday when they travel to the Bronx to take on Fordham.
The football team was shut out by Georgetown in their game Saturday night. The Seawolves lost 7-0, dropping their record to 0-2. A 6-yard pass resulted in the only touchdown for the game. Josh Dudash went 7-10 before he was replaced in the third quarter by Andrew Garrett and Dan Sweeney.
The news wasn’t much better for the men’s soccer team as they dropped a game 2-1 to the University of North Carolina, Wilmington Friday night. Adam Ciklic scored his second goal of the season to bring the Seawolves even in the 28th minute, but it was not enough to hold off the Seahawks. In the next game of the UNCW/Jameson Inn Soccer Classic, the Seawolves lost again by a score of 2-1.
