Overcast skies and cold weather didn?t dampen the mood of Homecoming 2002 as thousands of students, alumni and their families were treated to food, entertainment and a 24-7 victory over Sacred Heart University at the new stadium. Although the facility opened six weeks ago, it was officially named during halftime homecoming festivities on Oct. 19 for New York State Senator Kenneth P. LaValle.
