In his room, there is a deep well filled with salty water’hellip; He only takes napes, This kid is so sweet He day dreams of rainbows and refuses to sleep While family members are sound asleep He is so nice At home, at night He has deep conversations with vermin and mice During the day, outside it would be storming with rain He loves any weather, and he devours his day in vain His smiles, are CONCAVE Up! In his mind, he starts out with ‘MY purple’ He is annoying and clings on to people As the day progresses ‘MY yellow, MY yellow’ Gosh! He gets on my nerves, it’s unsettling, he’s just way too mellow He questions, ‘Why is she so hollow?’ Mid day and he screams ‘MY GREEEEEN!’ Their thoughts of him, ‘This kid won’t leave me ALONE, what a f–king feen’ He sighs because it’s almost hear, it’s O so near I move him out of my way, at times I even wonder if his head is f–king okay’hellip; And he HATES orange because it’s almost time His heart begins to beat faster and in his mind there are no rhymes The sun is setting And the very last color, ‘MY RED!!!’ He screams ‘NO!’ in his head This particular color he almost dreads ‘I’m not going to bed, I’m not GOING TO BED!’ But off course, he succumbs to it, And he dreams of brilliant red … In the middle of the night He awakes with tears and screams Of his love ones dying His rainbow begins with terrible dreams As the sun rises In his heart he is thankful and he prays ‘Yes! They are MINE again, another chance with them, another day.’ … And that, is how a rainbow is formulated And that, is where a rainbow begins
