The NCAA Track and Field Championships were held in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Stony Brook athletes, Tim Hodge, from Tawa, New Zealand, Dana Hastie, from Wellington, New Zealand, and Lucy Van Dalen, from Wanganui, New Zealand, were all invited to the championships, however none placed.
“I’m very proud of how well they competed,” Coach Andy Ronan said. “They made it all the way to the championships and it doesn’t get much higher than that. We’re going to keep on competing and hopefully we’ll be the team to beat.”
The next meet for the team is at Southern Connecticut State University, which is the home to the SCSU Invitational, taking place on March 29th.
