Car Accidents

4 Car accidents occurred between the 22nd and the 23rd. Two accidents occurred on the morning of the 22nd, one near Putnam Hall and the other one near ACP. Two more occurred midday on the 23rd, one on Nichols Road and the second on Circle Road. No major injuries were reported for any of the accidents.

Elevator Failure

5 people were stuck in the University Hospital Parking Garage elevator around 6:20P.M. on the 23rd of Feb. The fire department was notified and was able to safely remove all members from the elevator.

Suspicious Person

An unknown male and female were found walking around Amagansett Hall and dorms [Stony Brook Southampton] around 11:50P.M. on Feb. 23th. Upon police arrival, the two suspicious people were not found.

DWI Car Accident

Around 2:17 a.m. on the 24th of Feb. a motor vehicle accident occurred near the main entrance gates. Upon further investigation, the male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and one bottle of liquor was confiscated.

Another Car Accident

A second motor vehicle accident occurred 10:32 a.m. on the 24th near the Long Island Sound Veterans Hospital. The driver claimed to slip on ice.

Arrest

Two males were arrested in the Student Activities Center for petit larceny. The first occurred around 11:50 a.m. on the 25th, while the second occurred around 1:10 p.m.

Car Accidents

Two more car accidents occurred between the 25th and the 26th of Feb. The first accident occurred around 9:00 p.m. on the 25th, near the main entrance, while the second occurred around 5:00 p.m. on the 26th in the University Hospital Parking Garage. Once again, no injuries were reported.

Arrest

A male was arrested in the University Hospital for petit larceny around 1:40 p.m. on the 26th.
