Every childhood has its own set of certainties. Like a kiddie version of death and taxes. One of these certainties is an inclination to throw the occasional temper tantrum, usually over the most trivial of matters (one of my personal favorites was my firm opposition to the consumption of peas). The other certainty is Frosted Flakes. Have you ever met a person who was not at some pointed suckered by that talking tiger? I certainly haven’t. It is the second most popular cereal in the country, behind only Cheerios, which we all know is for diaper-wearers, both very young and very old. Others may argue for various alternatives, but anyone with half a brain knows that those flakes of sugary goodness are the originators.
