Bio: Allyson Lambros is a freshman writer from La Habra, California. She has been playing sports since she was nine years old, but ended up focusing on soccer since her mother refused to allow her to try out for a football team. Now playing for Stony Brook’s women’s soccer team, Ally plans on majoring in journalism with a minor in theater. Her previous writing experience includes being the Editor-in-Chief of La Habra High School’s award winning newspaper, the Scotch Tape, as well writing match reports for the semi-professional women’s soccer team the OC Waves. Ally likes long walks on the beach, prefers sunrises to sunsets, and is absolutely addicted to chocolate.
