Suspicious Person

Around 11:00 AM on Feb. 16, a suspicious female was found wandering about the Health Sciences Center. There were no further issues.

Harassment

Also at the Health Sciences Center, a male hit the original complainant after a’ verbal altercation’ involving a subpoena.

Car Accident

In the parking lot of the Health Sciences Center, a motor vehicle accident occurred around 6:00 PM. There were no injuries and only minor damage was done to the cars involved.

Another Car Accident

Another car accident occurred at 9:00 PM in the infirmary lot of the University Hospital. The vehicle’ that caused’ the damage was not present on police arrival. There were only damages to the vehicle.

Intruders

On’ the early morning of the’ Feb. 17,’ unknown males were found in a room’ at the’ West Apartments. Owners called for assistance and the unidentified males were gone on police arrival.

Fumes?

Around 3:00 PM, unknown fumes were found coming from a hole in a wall in Cardozo College in Roth Quad.

Trespassers

Seven males were found trespassing and skateboarding around the Physics building around 5:00 PM on Feb.17. All were transported to SB Police Headquarters and given verbal warnings.

Disturbance

At 1:00 AM on the morning of Feb.18, there were reports of an unruly group found near the West Apartments. The condition was corrected with police arrival.

Grand Larceny

Around noon’ on Feb. 19, grand larceny occurred at the Student Union.

Fire!

At 9:20 PM on’ Feb. 19, a fire was confirmed in Benedict College in the E wing basement. Both Setauket Center Reach and SB Fire departments responded to this emergency and extinguished the fire. The building was evacuated once the’ fire departments responded’ and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
