Jeffrey Coppola, a student from the School of Communication and Journalism (SOCJ), died on Sept. 7.
The Dean of the SOCJ, Laura Lindenfeld, sent out an email on Sept. 12 announcing Coppola’s death.
“Jeffrey was an important member of our school and university community, and his absence will be deeply felt,” Lindenfeld wrote. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends, family members, and loved ones, and we encourage our school community to come together to support each other in this difficult time.”
A spokesperson for the SOCJ has stated in an email to The Statesman that there is no further information to offer.
