Stony Brook University held its 13th annual Seawolves Showcase on Friday, Oct. 20. Originating in 2010, Stony Brook has kept the tradition alive to show off all of the talent here on campus. The Showcase a great event to enhance Homecoming traditions as well as to bring back alumni to support the Seawolves.
Stony Brook was named the winner of the National Association for Campus Activities’ 2017 “Your Best Campus Tradition” video competition, in honor of its annual Roth Regatta.
One show that stood out at this year's Earthstock was the Color Guard and Drumline Showcase.The showcase was held at the Staller Steps at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24.
Wolfstock 2014, arguably the most anticipated and widely celebrated event throughout campus, kicked off Tuesday, Sept. 23 with the Creative Explosion and continued through Homecoming night.

On Sept. 18, Shayna Stahl accepted the position of Director of Athletic Bands at Stony Brook University, completing a nationwide search to replace longtime music director and founder of the Spirit of Stony Brook Marching Band, John J. Leddy, who retired last year.
